24.04.2010 - FT for pointing dogs Slovenia
Flanders Joy Inmotion "Ruby" did her first FT today. This is what Nina wrote us:
Just a perfect day...we had a Field trial for pointing dogs on a perfect terrain and Ruby was more than perfect in the field. She got all points for searching and obedience in the field and pointed very good. Judges said she has a lot of potencial and that they rarely see a weimaraner searcing so good like she did. 50 ... points all together!
I'm really proud of my little girl!!!
Parts to be judged: hare tracking, searching field, nose work, pointing and obedience.

After a long and busy moment, I'm now able to write some more news from the Flanders Joy front !
Puppies starting to leave; Oh, I will miss them so dearly. But I trust on my choices of having found good homes for them, so that makes me a bit more comfortable.
At the very last moment, we decided to keep a female puppy at home. She is the alpha bitch in the litter and her name will be Flanders Joy Infinity 'Xena'.
There is a TV soap with a very active and fearless lady, so we thought this name would perfectly fit for our puppy.
The soap calls "Xena, the warrior princess".
Here she is on her first walk in the fields:
Flanders Joy Ice 'Ice' , found a wonderful home in Germany,
where she will do shows and hunting later on.
Flanders Joy Insomnia 'Olga' has left for Switserland. She will get her huntingtraining in Germany and will also frequently participate on shows.
Flanders Joy Indy 'Indy' will live at the Belgian coastside. She will join there another female weimaraner and live an active live and a huntingtraining and some shows !
Flanders Joy Izzy 'Izzy' will live the closest to us. Only a half an hour away ! This beautiful boy will do huntingtraining and shows. Have a good live, sweet boy !
Flanders Joy In Motion 'Ruby', is going to live in Slovenia, to a loving family and their weimaraner Eros. Ruby is going to do shows and huntingtests. Good luck, sweet princess !
Flanders Joy Icon 'Rocco' , one of the 2 males in the litter, stays also in Belgium, where he is going to have a huntingtraining in the future.
14th June, the Belgian weimaranerclub organised the TST test, wich is a test to see if the dog is social to people, kids, other dogs, etc (canine good citizen).
There were 5 Flanders Joy dogs entered, all passed TST.
Flanders Joy Fay, Flanders Joy Havane, Flanders Joy Horta,
Flanders Joy Hakon and Flanders Joy Harris.
CONGRATULATIONS ALL !
Our puppies are 2 weeks old now, starting to run around, and enjoying little peaces of meat and Ginger's milk of course !
Our sweet puppies are born !! Ginger is proud mum of 5 beautiful girls and 2 wonderful boys !! We are over the moon !
Ginger and puppies doing just great and all found their new home already.
We are happy that all these pups will be educated for hunting,
and most of them will also show !!
First show for the Belgian members will be on our Belgian clubshow

4 January - Flanders Joy Hakon, almost 1 year old and
already looking after his grandfather "Bill".
What 2009 brings....
We will have 2 litters who are connected to Flanders Joy in 2009.
First litter is planned end May with our special female "BISS Multi Ch Greydove at Flanders Joy" Ginger, who will be bred to Ch Le Fol du Vent Fala Love'a.
Both parents are DNA-profiled.
These puppies will have excellent exteriour and nice huntingpassion.
We prefer people for this litter who will do hunting/showing.
Second litter will be a late summer litter, with Flanders Joy Fay. This is Fay's 2nd and probably last litter. Sire has to be confirmed yet. Fay produced in her first litter some lovely puppies, with great temperament, good noses and excellent conformation, so we expect same qualities in this upcomming litter. Daddy will be a mix of show/hunting results.
To be confirmed yet, but Flanders Joy Graceland "Gita" (see our dogs) will probably have a litter end 2010. As her owner is a hunter, this will be a pure worklitter ! We will look for a excellent huntingdog, who is able to run FT !
We also plan an exciting meeting with some nice dogs that we can use in the future for our breeding plans. In 2010, we plan to keep a puppy at home from an work litter out of Ginger. Prior is hunting in this litter ! We already have some interest in this litter, so if you want more information, don't hesitate to ask.
